T.O.B and odditiys

I was at the start today, walking around the team coaches etc.

two things struck me, firstly Rapha, jlt team had no coach and were sat on chairs getting ready in the street.

And team GB dont even seem to have bike sponsorship, with all riders on different bikes.

Why?

Team GB is a composite team made up of riders from different teams. E.g. Tao Geoghegan Hart rides for Bissell, Dan Pearson rides for Zappis, Owain Doull is An Post – Chain Reaction etc.

I think Rapha Condor probably can’t afford a team bus on their budget

While team buses are cool, I find them a bit overrated. I guess many teams deem them necessary, but I prefer old school ways of doing things! A la Rapha!
