Has this happened to anyone else.............
Back in the day I had the latest bit of kit irrespective of cost.
Today..... Why would you want electronic gears, £3000+ quid for a bike, no need to spend over a £1000 and so on and so on.
Have you seen the price of some of the clothing?
I don't like this matt black look, you can't beat chrome spokes.

My mountain bike has full suspension and disc brakes though, which is a bit of anomaly??????
I guess that is why governing bodies are slow to respond, people of the same ilk as myself.
I can't be the only one.
