I will shortly be receiving my £1000 voucher for ribble cycles. I have only had experience with shimano tiagra before. Are 105 / veloce equivalent to each other? Bike used mainly for non-competitive sportives/weekend rides up to 100 miles.
Everything else appears identical except the wheels. Campag khamsin or shimano rs11.
Many thanks

Have you ever tried campag before? if not it may be worth trying to get to a bike shop and see if you like the feel of it before you splash a grand on a bike with it. From what the majority of threads say veloce seems to be between tiagra and 105 as campag's basic starter groupset is better (more refined) than shimano's. i'm now awaiting attacks from all campag lovers.... sorryCube Cross 2016

Only get Veloce if you wish to match the time you spend riding with time spent gear indexing.
The latest 105 is really good and probably better than 6700 Ultegra. I would choose that.Boardman Elite SLR 9.2S
