Whittled my list down to two:
1. Cannondale F29 2 (flash alloy) w/Lefty @ £1100 (reduced from £1800)
2. Whyte 905 (2013 version) @ £1,289 (reduced from £1700)
Mostly trails riding, hopefully some XC racing next year. I appreciate that the Cannondale is a 29er whilst the Whyte is 26 but cannot make up my mind between the two. I've read very good reviews of the 905, but they are generally reviews of the 2014/2015 models so I'm not sure whether to focus on them too much (although the frame hasn't changed from the 2013 version...)
Thoughts / experiences appreciated.
Cheers

Have a Whyte 129 Works at the moment and have my Whyte 901 currently for sale, Its a 2011 model and I have to say its a fantastic ride the geometry really does inspire confidence.
The 129 is similar but doesnt give the same feeling I genuinely believe I can hit trails so much faster on a hardtail than full sus, So my vote is for the Whyte0
