Any ideas?

Hi all just arrived yesterday SKYRAY SolarStorm 2x CREE XML U2 LED used for the first time on the way home from work this mornng seems very bright the question is why when the light is on my cateye velo wireless speedo doesn't work I have moved the light as far away as possible from each other any ideas why this is?

    Its because LED lights arent constantly on - they are actually all flashing in order to make the batteries last longer, they just flash really, really quickly when on 'constant'. Its the very fast switching circuit that creates the interference you have issues with, and basically there is no real cure other than to go wired, or use a later generation ANT type computer, which reportedly don't suffer these issues. If you've moved the computer away as far as you can then thats really all you can do. Of course, computers are little use at night, so maybe just dont worry about it.

    My first gen Exposures did this with my Polar HRM, but only on high beam. Very strange.
