Anyone know what the F in 6802F RS bearings mean? Full compliment? I'm replacing the bearings in my Stumpy Elite FSR 2009, but not sure what to buy.

It's either the amount of grease or it doesn't really mean anything

What make is it?
This is handy, but it doesn't answer the question:

If it's an MRC bearing, F on its own could be a single shield (but it wouldn't be marked but RS as well).
If it's an SKF bearing, it could mean a machined bearing cage (but then the part number should start 618...).
Need to know the manufacturer, and the exact part number (and the way it's laid out with any dashes, etc.).
That said, if you're ordering from a bearing factor, they'll be able to match the code, anyway.0 -

Thanks for the replies!
Apparently it just means is a metric size according to good old Nicklouse lol. I shall forge ahead and ignore the F.0 -
It's an odd one. I have the SKF catalogue here and the F isn't listed in the code guide.
Full complement appears to be CV but could also be P for planetary.
Generally if SKF don't list a roller/needle/ball bearing it doesn't exist. It could be a typo, Nukeproof list completely the wrong size for the Mega main pivot on their frame assembly drawing.
A 6802 2RS should do you.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350
