Mavic Aksium Race
I was planning to put a pair of Mavic Aksium Race wheels on a bike I'm selling. Before doing so, I thought I'd give them a quick check for trueness and ping, two spokes have snapped. One when I gave the nipple a twist, the other when I used the bladed spoke holder to re-align the spoke (it had somehow twisted a bit).
Is the wheel scrap (the hub and rim are fine) or is it worth buying a couple of new spokes? I don't really want to sell a bike with wheels that are about to explode!
