I shall now use my leg hair as my only excuse for how slowly I ride, since it's been proven to be such a significant factor. Maybe I'll grow a beard to give me even more of an excuse . . .

depressingly, I recently shaved my beard off and if anything my speed has gone down! maybe the extra weight forced me into a lower and more aero position?!

I become a wimp without facial hair when the temperature drops below 17 degrees.
