Hey,

Just wondering if anyone knew what the differences were between these two models of Shimano 105 pedals?

I can't seem to find much if any difference.

I've got the alloy-bodied 5700, same weight as the carbon-bodied 5700 according to the specs. On my winter bike set the spindle has rusted up quite badly. Spindle held into pedal body with big plastic nut. On the 5800 series the spindle is slimmer and held in place by a neater 'top hat' nut; no idea if this makes it lighter, but it looks neater.
