Muppet new wheels moment(days)

Ok, so I received my new handbuilt wheels and had my first spin on them yesterday. Did a decent 60 miles. I was worried that when out of the saddle the gears would slipa bit. Well aftrer commuting another 45 miles today as I forgot to check last night I realise there is a little play on the cassette.

Ah, so that's what the spacer the wheelbuilder told me about is for!!!! 10 speed cassette on 11 speed wheels

Let's hope tomorrows commute will be smoother.

I hope I'm not the only to make this kind of mistake

Did it not rattle a bit as well ?

A girl on the clubrun a couple of years ago was running a 10sp cassette on a 8/9/10 hub without spacer and the noise was driving most of us nuts
