Has anyone said sod it to the phone package and just gone for a big data deal and got a skype phone number?
If yes how have you found the quality?
Or are you finding all the freebie calls texts etc out weigh anything else?

I got an ipad mini with data intending to ditch the phone. I never make many calls anyway, got a work phone for that if I need to. Never used it for skype and wasn't going to bother. The thing that put a stop to it was my son, he wanted the ipad and he won. Now I'm back to a phone, fits in my pocket better anyway.
Is there much of a saving to be made by going data only?0
