Does anyone have any experience of security skewers? I am looking at the likes of pinhead/pitlocks.
I am also considering seatpost/headset and would appreciate input.

Thanks,
Paul.

  • I had some hope Hex skewers on my fixed gear, easy to use, and a minor deterrent for thieves, not foolproof obviously but better than a quick release.

I have a Pinhead on my single speed road bike and it works fine. I only use one on the front as the rear hub uses female bolts, mine came in a set with a rear and a seat clamp one but I didn't need those.
