I am looking at replacing my mavic cosmic slr for campagnolo boras, not sure if I should wait for the new ones to come out or go with the 80th anniversary model or just the ultra 2s.
I have had the ultra 2s 2012 version before and I had problems with spokes breaking, any input would be great.

The new Boras seem to have significant changes (brake surface as well as rim profile), whether that is any improvement on a very very good design is debatable. You are one of very few that I have heard of that have had an issue with breaking spokes on Boras.
Perhaps Enve handbuilts are an optionif that is a concern?
  • if you wait you can have clinchers
    Pegoretti
    Colnago
    Cervelo
    Campagnolo
  • I was going to go for Boras but went for Enve in the end.
I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles

Bora ultra's with clinchers? Sounds like an odd mix. The Bora's are a high performance wheel, so it makes sense to fit the highest performing tyres that you can, which (by a significant margin) means a top quality tubular fitted with a super-light latex tube, perhaps something by FMB or Veloflex.
