North-East Devon/Somerset (ish)

Travelling down to the folks next weekend in south devon - 250 miles/4hrs away. My plan is to travel 2 hours Thursday night which will take me as far as bristol way/area. Then id hope there would be some quality trails to ride, or ideally a good trail center (so I dont get lost) I can kip in the van at/near; wake up in the morning, do a few hours hooning around. Then once I'm done finish the other 2 hours down to the folks.

If all goes well ill be weilding a freshly put together nukeproof tr pro :-). Also have 'tour de moors' to do on sunday when I'm down there, good 35 miler round the moors for charity :-)

Bristol has Ashton Court for xc, and Stockwood for dh. Theres a couple more, but my map with them on has inexplicably broken.

Bit further down, Exeter has Haldon which is short but not terrible for xc.

Thanks for the tips, not many round there, thinking about either doing a quick night stint then riding croft trail near swindon, or going slightly out my way to ride FoD for a few hours...
