Garmin 800 - Route Profile

I've probably pressed something inappropriate on my Garmin 800 and now just have a flat line on the course profile when I upload courses.

In some kind of masochistic way I rather enjoy knowing what manner of uphill pain lies ahead so wondered if anybody has a quick fix.

    I get this if planning a route in Strava, but not when using Ridewithgps etc.

    Funnily enough I was just trying ridewithgps and you are absolutely right......I can now see my pain looming:-)

    Might be worth trying gpx/tcx etc formats - possibly some of the planning tools dont output elevations in some of the formats? Possible that some of the formats dont support it anyway, regardless of the planning tool.
