Hi,
I'm thinking of installing Giant Connect dropper seatpost with cables routed internally in the tube in my Giant Trance 27.5 3 2014.

It looks like I will need to remove the bottom bracket to do that. What tools do I need for that?

Cheers

Something to remove it without trashing it and the a bb press to put it back in, my trance is currently at the lbs having the same done, for less than £20 it was cheaper than the tools or another bb if I trashed it trying to remove it.
  • Thanks for the comment. Yeah, it does look like a fiddly job. Will check with my LBS this weekend whether they can do it and how much it would cost. Definitely want to route the cable internally.
Btw, your bike looks awesome. Was thinking of getting Trance 27.5 2 but settled for 3 in the end. Both are fantastic bikes.
