Can any recommend a good all rounder on the market at the moment?
Mostly be using it for trails and a bit of down hill actions. Be off a newbie to this.
Thanks Craig

All bikes can be ridden down hills, but you won't get a Downhill bike for £500, despite what a myriad of eBay adds claim!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

My friends have had the halfords boardman brand bikes and they went pretty much anywhere.
Your £500 hard tail will go anywhere you want if you have the skill to ride it.0 -
Yes, but different bikes are better suited to different types of riding.....Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
