Pannier rack fouling on brakes (a solution)

I fitted my new pannier rack to my Ribble last night. All was going well until I realised that the left hand rack mount, which connects to seat stay, was fouling on the brake adjuster bolt and forcing the caliper inward, pushing the block on to the rim.
Hmmm, looks like I managed to buy a rack which doesn't work well with my frame. For reference, the rack is a Tortec Velocity. A bit of head scratching and I came up with a simple solution using a few bits that most cyclists will have lying around.
1 x Shimano cleat washer
1 x M5 bottle cage bolt
1 X Nylon lock nut (M5)
Then fit like this:
Thought I'd share this as when I've done some googling around this morning, the general consensus is that people either return the rack for a different one or just leave off the offending rack mount. Time will tell if this works well but it seems solid enough.
Hopefully someone will find this useful.

Interesting. I got my LBS to fit the stay for my rack on that side. It needed a massive bend to avoid fouling the brake.0
