Got speedmax, but finding it hard to fit my garmin cadence sensor to it.
Will the garmin fit my speedmax? And if so any suggestions to where to put it?

Use the money to buy one of the new Garmin sensors that just clips to the crank arm and has no separate magnet or other rubbish. They are only about £30.0 -

I was thinking the exact same thing before reading your post. The new sensors are easy to fit, work just as well as the old ones and I can't imagine they affect aerodynamics very much.0 -
Got one of the new Garmin sensors on my Speedmax AL and it works great, mostly. The cadence sensor is fine but the speed one on my rear hub will infrequently pause itself at random for a couple of seconds then resume, despite the fact I'm not even close to 3mph or whatever the auto-pause is set to!0

I have the cs10 one but the new sensor your talking about is very expensive.... £50+

Or alternatively you can get the new Wahoo RPM cadence sensor and either attach it to your crank, or it can even neatly attach to your shoe. Looks like a great, simple solution.0 -

I fitted mine on my front hub, for no other reason than it is nearer to the head unit and in line of sight. I has worked flawlessly.Boardman Elite SLR 9.2S
