Go bloody compare

So I've just bought a new (old) car and whilst searching around I got some insurance quotes from the opera singing lot. In the end I bought (yet another) old Golf Gti, which has the usual modifications (lowered, tinted rear windows etc etc). As the usual insurers which most people use don't cover modification I went to a specialist that does but I continue to get automated emails from the other lot pointing out I haven't spent any money with them yet. The account they are sent from is the usual 'noreply@' type thing and there is no obvious contact address or opt out. My solution was to log into my account and change my email to 'nomoreemail@blahblahblah.com', change my address to their address and change my phone number to the Financial Services Authority number. That should hopefully reduce further spam to a minimum.
Rant over.
