Which Bike case?

Looking to get a really good bike case to protect my new bike. Terrified of it getting broken when taking it away on holidays.
Anyone give me some advice as to the best case? Some of the softer ones have good reviews but I'm not sure how well they will protect the frame?
What domu recommend?

Depends on the size of your wallet.0

I have the EVOC which is very good (previous gen) - the updated one looks nice. A friend was recommended the make with the inflatable sides (Helium?) but, when we compared hers with mine, the EVOC was much better thought-out. It also weighed less and was slightly smaller. Which brings me to the downside (for me) of the EVOC - it's slightly too large to fit in the boot of my E-Class estate - it fits across the back seat ok. But the size does make moving it in taxis etc hard. I mention this because there's probably 4-6" of space in the length of the thing for me 57cm frame so I could have gone with something smaller.ROAD < Scott Foil HMX Di2, Volagi Liscio Di2, Jamis Renegade Elite Di2, Cube Reaction Race > ROUGH0

I have a BikeBoxAlan which does a really good job protecting the bike (and all the other clobber you can pack into it!).
As mentioned above, the size of these things is not to be underestimated - they are huge when you place them in the context of a car - a big consideration particularly when you get to your destination.

EVOC - with the extra padding - have flown with one for years now, and ditched the hard case as it was a major issue with transport at the other end unless you can guarantee an estate car , 4x4 or minibushttp://veloviewer.com/SigImage.php?a=3370a&r=3&c=5&u=M&g=p&f=abcdefghij&z=a.png

Bike box Alan and Thule look good, any experience of using them?
I was thinking of the scicon/evoc but trying to get my head around the level of protection in a "soft" case.0 -
On a recent trip we had a mix of Bike box alan's and polaris hard cases. Both were fine but the BBA's seemed much better in terms of layout, strength and also the solutions for storing pedals and other things securely within the box. In terms of size, my mate got two BBA's in the back of a VW polo (with the seats down of course).0
