A close friend has just discovered that he has been paying BT £78 a month for the privilege of having a phone & broadband connection in my, I mean his, house for the last three months. Despite having sat at less than half this figure for at least two years, it suddenly went up - my account using an old email address and careless lack of bank statement checking did the rest.

Furious with them and myself hardly begins to describe it.

I strongly suggest that you check your bill fully.
Even at half that bill (£39) you are paying far too much for a phone line and broadband.

May I suggest the one second from the top - http://www.productsandservices.bt.com/c ... wgodliAAFg
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.
