Firstly I didn't take part. It goes right through where I live.
I went on a ride this morning and everyone taking part was comming the other way. I stopped to ask a marshall which sportive it was and was amazed at some of the riders on it TBH.
There is a village called Great Budworth and on the way out is a steep downhill and uphill. There is a really busy road that runs through the middle and I have seen a few car and Motorbike accident there. Some riders were just riding straight accross it and other were stopping and having a pop at the marshall for trying to stop them. I was there for about 3 minutes. I was sure someone would get hit there this morning.
