CX routes around North Bristol/South Gloucestershire

I've recently moved to a small village in Gloucestershire, near Thornbury. Armed with an OS map, I see there are lots of little bits of bridleway, but not much that actually joins up.

Can anyone point me to some good routes round here that make good use of a 'cross/gravel bike? Or suggest where I might look in surrounding areas?

My XLS needs some love...

Forest of Dean.... lovely - but depending on your mood you may want to stick it in the car to get over here.

of course, I've been meaning to get out there with the mtb actually - already been to BPW a couple of times, but I'm hoping to find stuff a little closer to home.

Bike Park Wales. But that's very much a pure mtb place, not CX.
