This is being shown on the UCI website (via the youtube channel I presume)

  • It's been live on France 3 for the past 20 minutes or so.
74kms to go. Break of 6 have 3 and a half minutes.

Messy, riders splitting off all over the place and no apparent pattern at all.

The front group are fannying about, they're going to get caught at this rate.

They should hold on but certainly doing their best to mess it up, I despair of so called pros at times!

    Chavanel takes it.

Chavanel takes it with a strong sprint but they almost got themselves caught.

Well, what a lot of mucking about from the differing front groups.

That last front group was lucky to make it to the line ahead of a rampaging peloton.
    Correlation is not causation.

Which goes to show how quickly the front group must have been moving even though it looked like they were sat up looking at each other (apart from the last 200m).

Very pleased for Chavanel. GP Plouay is a nice win to have. He was certainly in form as he won the 5-day Tour du Poitou-Charentes (with a crushing win in the time trial).
