El Maressar Beach Majorca

Has anyone been to El Maressar Beach Majorca. This is just East of Cape Formentor on the North Coast. From memory it's the bay you look down on just before going into the tunnel on the way out.
I've been to it before but this involved going down a narrow and very steep cliff path. Looking at google maps satellite there is a dirt road that runs up toward the main road. We tried to find this from the main road a couple of years ago but could not see it. If you look at streetview from where it looks like it should meet there is a fence and Prohibited sign. When I was at the beach a few years back locals where heading up this way when they were leaving.
Just wondered if anyone had made it down to the cove this way.

This is just West of Cape Formentor not East.
I used to fit GPS systems on ships and always has to say Never Eat Shredded Wheat.
Just for balance there are other breakfast cereals available that you can fail to eat.0 -

According to Google maps the cove has both names. It's about 2 km West of the lighthouse on the North coast between Punta dels Aucells and Cingles Verds. Definately not accessable from Cala San Vicenc.0
