Rear cassette ratio ?

Just about to change my chainset to a 53/39 and was wondering if i need to chain the rear cassette in respect of the different ratio at the front ?

    You don't have to, but you can if you want. If you regularly use your 25 sprocket on a compact then you might want to go to a 12-27 or 12-28 to give you a similar ratio on a standard double.
