chris king hub disassembly help
So I'm trying to service the hub myself since there seems to be enough info out there and it's apparently the most simple hub to do on.
I've been struggling with the "Steel end cap" for the past half hour. Chris king say it should just pop off and from a video on youtube, the guy just pops it off. Mine seems to be stuck? I've unloaded the preload and tried pulling both of with considerable amount of pressure and it's not budging, any tips to remove it safely?
"Note: 142/157mm also axles feature a steel axle end cap that will pop off of axle end as Adjusting Clamp is
pulled from axle. "

Often end caps are a bit seized. If you have a bench vice, clamp it between two planks of wood and pull the wheel. Otherwise use the round bit in the middle of a pair of pliers to grab itleft the forum March 20230
