Best month to get the biggest bike discount ?

Hi all,
As the title suggests, I am looking at getting a new bike and have seen some shops have started their sales, can you advise historically what month has the biggest discounts ?

    Now - August and September are the best months.

    August onward but bear in mind that the popular sizes tend to disappear so don't go waiting for further cuts on sizes 54-58. Edinburgh bicycle co-op sale looked quite good.

    The conundrum is that if I was buying a new bike now it would be for spring/summer 2015 so mothballed for the next 6 months.

    Now, if you are lucky the bike you want will be on sale in your size. I was last year and got 30% off my road bike. Just check all retailers to get the best prices.
