Ultegra crankset working with Force group set

I have a Force groupset which I am actually quite happy with, however, the SRAM GXP bottom bracket is not very good. I can get an Ultegra crankset with bottom bracket for reasonable money - same price as a hope bottom bracket for GXP with adapters.

The Shimano HT2 bottom bracket is one that I trust, the Hope I know nothing about. Thus I have two questions:

1. Can the Ultegra crankset mate well with the rest of the force group set?
2. Is there a decent (reliable) GXP bottom bracket available for a reasonable price?

    Thanks Keezx.

Does anybody know if the following works ( I am sceptical)

I use an Ultegra chainset on my Rival equipped bike, so no problems there.

That shim should work as Shimano use 24mm spindles whereas Sram/Truvativ use 24mm drive side and 22 NDS. No idea how good it'll be though. Might be worth a punt to find out.

Hope make compatible BBs (though again, I think it's a shim they provide).
