Gore Jackets - Oxygen vs Oxygen 2

I'd decided on a Gore Oxygen jacket after much research and a key part of the decision making process was the strong customer reviews. Looking online it seems the Oxygen has been replaced by the Oxygen 2.0 and I can't find any reviews on the new version. I'd rather still go for an Oxygen as it's cheaper and seems to tick all my boxes but the colour options in XL are very limited. Does anybody know the difference between the 2 jackets (other than the cost) or can anyone point me to any useful reviews of the Oxygen 2.0?

Daz,
Just had a look on the Gore website, the only difference between the Oxygen Active and the Oxygen Active 2.0 jacket seems to be that they have added two zipped side openings, for easier access to rear jersey pockets. Would also be good for extra ventilation I suspect, the price has increased though.

Thanks - might have to go for the 2.0 then. A bit pricey though0

if any of you ever come to istanbul or turkey for holidays there is a store which has some oxygen jackets left. you can buy them online too. gore used to manufacture some of their products in Turkey I think and these are export surplus.

I'm just about to list an Oxygen in red- size XL in the classifieds.
Virtually as new, bought from here but now too big for me.
PM me if interested0
