SPD shoes on a budget

I am venturing into the world of SPDs for the first time and want to pick up some shoes on a tight budget (£20-£30) so I can see if I get on with them.
I ride a Stumpy Evo over pretty much everything, DH tracks, long Xc routes and am about to embark on my first Wales trip (Afan and Cwmcarn). Been given a set of crank bros egg beaters and cleats so just need shoes. What's your advice please thanks

A mate got his from Aldi. Very cheap but can't remember exactly how little - probably a similar price to Lidl."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0
