Recommendations for a weekend skills/guided ride

Me & Mrs_g want to go somewhere *next weekend* - i.e. 30/31st, so short notice, I know:

Would like to spend a weekend somewhere and treat ourselves in a mountain bike related manner. We have a camper, but somewhere with decent B&B would be better. Clwydian range & Llandegla are amost on our doorstep, so would like to go further afield.

Any suggestions or recommendations for a weekend of beginner->intermediate skills development, or even guided riding within 2 or 3 hours drive from North Wales?

Go for Glentress.

Good progression, tons of places to stay, and there's quite a lot of guides in the area. Not sure if you'll get any at such short notice, but the good news is you'll barely need them as the whole area is so well waymarked you'll not get lost easily. Even if you want to leave the trail centre behind, there's a ton of natural trails in the area, and no shortage of books or maps on where to find them.
