Just after people's opinion on Endura road clothing. May people bag on about how good Assos Rapha Castelli are in discussions but Endura seems to be never mentioned. Is there any particular reason for this? I have some mountain bike shorts which have been brilliant both on and off the bike so am considering some road clothing. Also am i right in thinking that their clothing is made mostly in Scotland? I'm not entering the debate about what happens if Scotland vote for independence. Just after views on clothing please.

I bought a pair of Endura FS260-Pro bib shorts in June and they are brilliant. Most reviews I've seen (including on BR front page atm) compare them to shorts costing up to twice as much.

They do very good mid range stuff. Love their shorts and jerseys.

I have a few of their FS260 Pro range jerseys, shorts and bib shorts and they are nice quality, comfortable and reasonably priced

  • Yep. I had a FS260 Pro Jet (or something) windproof jersey which was brilliant right through the winter for on and off-road riding. Have just eBayed it because I'm a big tart and I want something more stylish :-)

I bought a pair of the FS260-Pro bib-shorts a couple of months ago and have been very impressed with them. Great fit and a good pad. Can't complain at the price. Some of the best mid-range stuff out there.

I've got a windchill jacket and gloves for cold winter days, both are good but the gloves are exceptional and are probably the best winter gloves I've used.

Got some of their bib shorts, which have lasted (in terms of not wearing thin) better than my Assos ones, but the Assos shorts were a lot more comfortable.

    Not sure that helps.

How is the fit on their jerseys? Going by the size guide I would be an xs, but at 6' tall, I'm not convinced that would be long enough.

At 5'8 tall, 37.5" chest and 33" waist I tend to take a small in their jerseys. As others have posted, Endura offer very good quality at very reasonable prices. Although I now tend to use Castelli stuff on the road bike, I'm keeping a pair of fS260 pro bib shorts, a fs260 pro jetstream windproof jacket and an old Rapido long sleeve jersey for off road adventures on the 'crosser as it's great kit which I don't mind getting too muddy!

Got a jersey, great. Got 3/4 length bibs, great. Got mitts, great. Got Deluge gloves, fucking excellent.

Endura went through a phase of putting out some pretty inferior clothing IMO. They seem to have got their act back together and are putting stuff out again that is of good quality and design again.
I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.

I love their Equipe range. Very expensive but on par with Rapha. And imo the Uber equipe bib shorts are much better.
