    I'd be surprised if it weighed that much - not a heavy bike - my old one (admittedly a small frame and old school so less travel) was under 30 with deore kit and boggo wheels.

    You might be right you know, Its ages since I've weighed it so might have to give the bathroom scales a bash tonight.

    Im going to refit an old layback post as I've not been happy with the position of the in line for a while but keep forgetting to do it. If it works I'll replace the Thompson with, wait for it... Another Thompson.
