Genesis core 20 frame to big - suitable replacement?

Hi back in 2012 i bought a genesis core 20 (2011) cheap at Christmas. I bought the wrong size - Doh! (i ignored the shops advice it was to big - double Doh!)

I have ridden the bike a fair amount and kept up on the maintenance so don't want to change bikes completely.

The bike frame size is 20.5 inch. I am 5ft 11. I am now on the hunt for a smaller frame. I don't want to go too small so think i will get a 19inch.

My question is this:

Will any year genesis core frame be the same?
Could i buy a frame from the 10,30,40,50 range and it be the same?
Would all the bits from my bike fit onto a Genesis Altitude frame?

Also, does anyone have anything suitable lying around?
Otherwise i plan to buy one from ebay.
