It looks like mine has given up the ghost as I've got some crank wobble. On my MTB a new one comes with a spacer to alternate between 68 and 73mm but it seems that road ones don't.
And there are Italian and English threads... I assume my specialized allez will have an english thread and the italian is for campag equiped frames?
I also assume that even though I'm running a Tiagra crankset that I can fit a 105 BB without any problems?

specialized will be english threaded (the italian threading is not campag specific, it's just the way some frames are threaded)
presumably the crankset is hollowtech ii - a 105 ht-ii bb will be finemy bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -
Thanks for that and yes its a standard HT2 crankset.Advocate of disc brakes.0
