I'm planning a holiday in Tuscany Italy , based around Sienna for a week , can anyone recommend bike hire companies in the area. I'm looking for a good quality road bike for a few days, don't want to risk mine with the baggage handlers.

Do a search - we have had almost exactly the same question 2 or 3 times in the last couple of months. I would search for you, but that would make it too easy! Just search for Tuscany...0

I'm capable of searching for bike hire companies on the internet, what I asked was could anyone recommend a company from past experience .0

I haven't used them, but SFAIK there's only one firm in (or around Siena) that hires bikes:
