Group ride in Los Angeles

I'm lucky enough to be heading off on hold to Los Angeles soon. I have a bike hire sorted for a couple of days and would love to hook up with a local club ride/chaingang when out there so I don't have to worry about getting lost, riding on the Freeway or ending up in Compton.
I don't suppose anyone know a club/chaingang in LA - I'm staying in the Hollywood Hills.
