11 speed cassette issue

I'm trying to fit an 11 speed cassette to a Mavis Ksyriums 11 speed hub. I have previously been running 10 speed cassette with a spacer.

I assumed to put 11 speed cassette on, I remove the spacer and just wap the 11 speed cassette on, however, I am finding that the cassette has some movement.

Do I therefore need a 11 speed spacer?

I did this a couple of months ago on my Elites. You just ditch the spacer and the 11 speed cassette fits straight on. It really only just fits and the lock ring has about 2-3 turns max until it is tight.

If yours is loose after doing the lock ring up tight, it sounds like you are missing a cog.
