Felt F75 suggestion

Hello All,
First time poster here. My first road bike was a BTWin Triban 5A that I got last September and had to be written off after a car knocked me off, and few months later, I got a used Scott road bike from my mate which recently gave up the ghost. So, I have been looking for a new road bike and effectively narrowed down my choices to Felt F75 (from Merlin Cycles), Canyon Roadlite 6.0, and Rose Pro-SL2000 2015. All feature pretty much similar spec except for Rose which now comes with new Shimano 105 5800. Canyon is out of stock at the moment and Rose will take 6 weeks to build and deliver. Merlin Cycles is selling F75 2014 model for £699 and will take less than 2 weeks to deliver and is cheaper of the lot. So, I am kind of settling down on F75
I am not really familiar with Felt or many brands for that matter, but reading the reviews, they sound good and especially F75. Hope it's a good pick?
My main question is the right frame size for me. I am 183 cm tall with 83 cm inseam. Felt size guide suggest both 56 and 58 cm. As the F series is primarily a racing series and has a 'aggressive' geometry, which I like to be honest, I am bit confused about the correct frame size for me. Merlin guy said 58cm as per sizing chart and also the new frames are quite compact. I can't go and try them out as I am in London. Could anyone give me some suggestions please?
Obviously, 58cm has a longer headtube (170mm) than 56cm (150mm), does it make 58cm more 'relaxed' geometry than 56cm?
What do people do if you are in the middle of the sizes? Anyone has F75 here?
Sorry for the long post and so many questions, and I guess it's all due to not able to try them first hand.

I'm 179cm with a 77cm inseam and have both a 2011 f85 and a 2012 f3 in a 56 and 54 respectively, I bought the f85 based purely on what i had read and advise from the shop and it feels a little big, the 54 on the other hand which I had a ride on first immediately felt more comfortable.
Even after changing the setup of the f85 to the same dimensions as the f3 seat to bar reach, drop etc it still feels bigger.
So basically your best off going somewhere to try both as all of the above is subjective. We all have different proportions so you could be more or less comfortable on either.
The f85 has been a great bike and is still used as my winter/turbo bike and will be getting treated to some new bits before this winter sets in, once you've got the size right you'll struggle to go wrong with the felt.
Good luck

Thanks Jon, Felt sizing chart suggests both 54 and 56 cm for your height and it sounds like you are more comfortable with 54 than 56, which kind of makes sense to my case as well, and you can always play with the stem length to adjust the reach I guess.
Unfortunately, the only retailer I can find so far is Merlin Cycles and I can't go all the way up there to check it out, so I am gonna have to get it online and hope for the best.
Anyone has F75 ?
Cheers
