Crown race, headset fork problem - Giant Talon1

Hello
Colleague had a fault with the Roxkshox recon fork on his 26" Giant Talon1 2013, so the fork has been removed from the bike and sent back to Paul's cycles under warranty. He's desperate to ride and the turnaround time is 2weeks so he picked up a new but cheap Suntour with the idea that he can keep riding his bike now, and when his Recon goes for a service in future. However, he needs a crown race and doesn't know the headset size. So, any ideas what crown race fits his headset?
At the moment he's got a spare 1-1/8 straight steerer fork which ain't gonna fit, making it redundant.
Thanks
