Whyte 901

After all the hype I have decided to cash in on my 2013 cube ltd and use the funds to get hold of a Whyte 901. Only thing is I am really struggling to see the differences between the 2014 and 2015 model. At this stage even the prices are the same, unusually the colourway is the same and more importantly the spec also seems the same- unless I am missing something. ive spent hours googling both year variants and really cant find any differences- to be honest even the sales prices are currently the same all over the net.

so....

does anybody in the br community know if indeed the 2014 and 2015 models are identical, and if so i will try and barter a deal on the outgoing year.

The differences I've spotted are the fact in 15 you get an ardent race rear tyre rather than a crossmark which has to be a good thing as the crossmark is rubbish (I think) and you get avid db3 not elixir 3 brakes. No idea about the difference.
However if you wait a bit and can get a discounted 14 model you might have the change to switch brakes and tyres for your preference anyway

Looking at this myself.

Difference are as stated - brakes and rear tyre.

You wont find many 2014 left anywhere and I doubt that they will be discounted much given the demand so I would just buy a 2015 and have that.
