damaged rear rim
Hey,
I've just bought my first road bike, but I discovered a damage on the rear wheel. On the surface there is a dip that's why is a little egg in that. I'm actually not scared of that, I hope can be repaired roughly but the damage is a bigger issue. I know the picture isn't perfect but I tried the best. What would you say? It's not going to be hurt the braking?
It's a shimano rs20 with 20 spokes so a rim change wouldn't be easy(DT makes 20h aero rims so I need new spokes and more patience) or a whole new wheel for 100€+.
Thank you for your help

Just return it if it's damaged, if you can't use an adjustable spanner to bend it out. Be really careful and use a steel rule to check0

its an used bike, can't return it. Won't the spanner weaken the rim?

If you bought it from a private seller, you are better off just fixing it. The spanner method normally works very wellleft the forum March 20230
