Could anybody advise me if I need new chainring bolts. I have a shimano deore double crank set that I will be putting a Moove narrow wide chainring on.

Also can I use a kmc missing link on a shimano chain? Or is there a better choice?

should just be able to use the same bolts that attach the big ring on the double. you can use any chain (ie 10sp on a 1x10) I've got an SLX chain while my son has a KMC for our 1x10 using shimano cassettes

I just fitted a narrow wide to mine and reused the chain rings - my 30T ring was threaded so just the bolt part of the chainring bolts and not the nut part if you like were used - some, particularly bigger rings aren`t threaded I understand.

I am using a shimano chain with SRAM quick links - no issues. KMC should be fine too.

Thanks for the advice, sometimes you spend so much time looking on Google which ends up confusing more.

I'll give it ago with current bolts and order some quick links
