Not sure on their road bikes, you should phone the Halfords stores in your area and ask if they have a Medium or Small on display.

I'm the same height as you, had a try of a medium comp in halfords and it was far too big for me got a small and it was perfect.

Their top tubes tend to be longish, I would have thought small too.

If it's anything like the Hybrids, then I agree with the above.

I'm 5'8" 29" inside leg and I'm going for a Small, the medium was too much of a stretch.

I am the same height as you with a slightly shorter leg (29") and I bought a M/L Boardman Road Comp. The size down was S/M. It was my first road bike and felt better than the smaller size in the shop.
Since then my body has adjusted and I have realised that the bike is slightly too big and I have built myself one around a Planet X Pro Carbon M frame which is smaller.
I still use the Boardman with mudguards but have shortened the stem to 90mm instead of the 110 fitted.
I would say go for the smaller frame.
