Hi everyone
Just getting back into road riding again after a long lay off ,decided to get this road bike
http://www.giant-bicycles.com/en-gb/bik ... 971/66534/
Getting this with C2W scheme.
I am currently riding a giant xtc so this new bike will be a bit different.
I tried a few different road bikes at my localish bike shop was going to get defy 1 with 105 groupset but it was the carbon frame and the style of this is the reason why I chose it ,I can always upgrade the parts at a later date.

Not sure if this is a question or just a statment - but advice on new bikes, I'd say pick the frame that fits you and your riding style first, then worry about components next. If you are new to or have no clue what you like, then I'd always say ride a few first. Whilst it's easy to upgrade components later, it's not so easy/cheap to replace a wrongly sized or wrong geometry shaped frame. Are you going to do short races or long endurance rides. Are you flexible and are you normally proportioned - I'm not! When you get the bike, get the essentials and then just ride it for several months before being tempted to upgarde everything.0
