Can anybody please advise what brakepads I should use and is it possible to have just one set which I will also use on aluminium clinchers?

I'd avoid using the same pair of pads for alloy and carbon if riding in all conditions. The pads pick up alloy slivers from the rim that will grind big chunks out of your carbon rims if left there. Safest get a spare set of pad holders and carbon pads and swap over - you generally need to readjust the pads between clincher and tubular wheels anyway.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
