Hi all

I am looking for a new set of road wheels for my ageing Cannondale road bike. Its still 9 speed shimano but that shouldn't be too big an issue. I'm not racing and an around 82kg in weight but want a light, strong, reliable wheelset for training and long days out. Also, for simplicity, I'd go for standard clinchers. I'd welcome thoughts on the best suited wheelset- I was thinking some Hope RS monos on open pros or a set of Shimano Ultegra 6900's.

Thanks

Either Campy Zonda or Archetype rims on Novatec hubs.
    Red bikes are the fastest.
  • Thanks. The Campy Zondas were definitely on my list. Are they easy enough to service/replace spokes etc?

Bought from where, and weight/spoke count?

It's just a hill. Get over it.

    No.

As someone else has already said - a 23mm rim (Archetype, Velocity A23 etc.) on Miche or Novatech hubs laced with the spokes of your choice. Light, stiff, reliable but easy to repair if there's an issue and sub £300.
