Spoke to a guy from Giant UK. I thought it was going to be more expensive after doing the conversion from the USA prices and adding the tax. He recons they are dropping in 9 days0

Last year the UK models from Giant had completely different builds to the US models. That Reign looks like a great build and I really like meastro suspension on Giant frames.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

Shame about the overdrive steerer on the giant tho!
does leave it a bit limited in the long term for headsets, stems and forks!0 -
They have dropped overdrive 2 and gone back to a standard tapered steerer for 2015 models.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

ahh
says on that link...
"....Stable geometry, a tapered OverDrive steerer tube design..."
"...RockShox Pike RCT3 Dual Position Air 130-160mm-travel fork with 15mm thru-axle and an OverDrive steerer..."
unless im missing something! :P
thumbs up if they have tho!0 -
Overdrive is standard tapered, overdrive 2 is the odd size, the lower end 2014 trance models come with a normal steerer too. From what I know the head tube is the same as most tapered head tubes, just uses different bearings for overdrive 2.0
